<div></div><div>Fairly new to EQ2 and so far I love my necro. A friend is going to start playing soon and we will be grouping a lot together. He wants to play a cleric class. Which healing class would compliment a necro best and visa versa? My first thought is fury or warden but I just don't have enough experience at the game to really give him some good advice. For ease of grouping, please keep the suggestions to Freeport allowable classes. Thanks in advance.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>edit: typo</div><div> </div><p>Message Edited by Braken on <span class="date_text">01-12-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:06 AM</span></p>

Necro + Fury is a very nice duo combo<div></div>

<div></div>I spent many, many levels duoing with a Mystic. The Freeport equivalent would be a Defiler. I just know with the mystic the wards and debuffs made major encounters almost trivial. The only times we would have problems would be when she went out of power or her slow didn't stick on our target. I was very happy with that combo.

Yes, Necro/Fury does in deed work well. Especially if your pets and buffs are of decent quality. I've duoed with a fury for several levels now, and we can take out yellow con heroics with out to much hassle. It's not the most efficient way of getting xp, but it works in a pinch for quests/drops, etc, but quite frankly, you'll get better xp plowing groups of solo mobs fast with your duoing partner, something furies are great at with their nukes. In addition, they are steady healers and have int buffs, so you gotta love them <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
