<div></div>Howdy all, I currently have a 45 Conjuror and a 42 Necromancer. Personally, I like em both, but i prefer my Necro since it seems that I can do more then just damage(heals, rez,FD). Anyway, I don't have enough time to play both and I will keep one as an alt but I'm needing a little help deciding which to play as my main.So just got a few questions I hope somone can answer for me. (Few notes: Only Necro in my guild, several Conjurors. All my spells are App2 or Adepts[Can't afford anything better at the moment])Soloing, I find my Conj pet can tank better then my Necro, so I'm wondering if that will change and also which class would be better at soloing Heroics in the laters levels 50+.Grouping, as a Conj I got groups very often and quickly even though there are so many Conjurors on my server. AS a Necro I'm usually waiting for several hours(maybe im just unlucky) but it seems like Necros are much more useful then a Conj.Damage in a Raid, I'm pretty sure of the answer to this but since Conjs are alot of AE(and im told in groups not to AE) where do you think a Necro and Conj would match up on damage in endgame raids and would Necros still be more useful because of the BU Heals and Rez.Sorry about the poor typing only had 5 mins to type this in, any help is appreciated. Thanks alot ^^.<div></div><p>Message Edited by JouranDragoon on <span class="date_text">01-11-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:27 AM</span></p>

Being the only necro in your guild could be a benefit for any necro-exclusive drops you get (master spells, gear, etc). In the high-end that could be EXTREMELY valuable.Other than that, a very close decision. Pros and cons to each.

<div></div>Endgame there isnt much change between the 2 classes. Raid utility you have Conj having fire/cold resist, Necro having dis/pois and Conj has 15 min summon groupmate, Necro has Rez + FD (15 min timer I think?). Dps and other differences are not substancially different than from what you should have already experienced by playing both classes. Overall go with whichever class you find the most fun/beneficial nobody else can really decide that for you.

Necros vs. Conj.*Pro- Lifetap- umm do i need to say anything. It will absolutly save you from many deaths.- FD- Very ussful not only when soloing to save your self but to get agro off in groups.- Revive- Makes you so useful, groups will love you (or hate you if they are jealous Conj)*Cons-Tank pet seems to be weaker than Conj (Note:at lvl 44 necros get a master 2 choice, which includes a Deffensive stance. It works great with another adep 1/3 pet buff)-I think Conj have better buffsAs far as DPS between the two classes, it all depends on the caster. There really isnt that much of a difference besides how the toon is played (and the lvl of the spells ofcourse)Ciphanic 48 NecroancerFree AgentsShadowhaven server

A Necromancer can deal out more damage vs single target heroics, but a Conjurer will out-dps a necro on group AE attacksA Necromancer has more utility than a Conjurer, but the Conjurer has better group buffs. There realy is not much difference between Necromancer and Conjurer pets, yes the models and the procs/attacks between them are different, but as far as DPS is concerned, they are fairly comparable. It really comes down to what rank your pet AND it's buffs are (Apprentice, Adept, Master)<div></div>
