It's about 10 to 12% more damage output than Adept 3. You be the judge from there. In my opinion, it's well worth it, but do keep in mind that the next replacement will likely occur at level 62 when the level cap increases.

I have a Gim Terror Master 1 and I love it.  It's worth spending between 2-6 plat for it. More then that is robbery.

<div></div>Last night I saw someone auctioning off this master in Freeport Traders. Half jokingly I offered him 5p for it stating that I couldn't justify paying more for something that I won't be using at the end of next month. He said he wouldn't sell for less than 20p. Prices are still up there it seems. Heck, we've still got some guy selling Fright master on the broker for 20p and he won't take anything less. I guess some people either don't know or don't care how much some masters are worth.

Its just because pets are so important to us and everyone knows it.   It's not even just for performance, it's so people can stand and pose with their master pets.   People pay way over what they should for them based on the 'pose' factor.   Same with cars in RL.<div></div>

I haven't seen any other classes that do that. So when players know there are others out there competing for these masters you end up with prices for our feign death and rez spell topping 20 plat and actually selling.

<div>Could also be that there are a LOT of Necromancers and very few Defilers out there.   I have the same joyous feeling with my Shadowknight and Assassin, that master spells are plentiful and cheap.  My necro, however, is carrying mostly Adept III's because masters are so rare and/or overpriced.</div><div> </div><div>I lucked out and bought Master I of Grim Terror this morning for 5.5p (4p on good side + 40% commission).   That's astoundingly cheap for Mistmoore, necro pets over level 30 typically fetch 10p+ and I've never seen the tank and scout master I for 48+ for sale.   Period.</div>
