DoTs definitely stack. Not sure about the resist debuffs though, never thoroughly tested.

As far as I remember, debuffs do not stack but DoTs will. Our DoTs never used to stack because of the debuff component most of them had.

Actually since our debuff is a proc on our pet, they do indeed stack.  You can easily see this by having the mob you are attacking targeted and wathcing as the debuff icon is there twice when the proc goes off for two distinct pets.  This also includes charmed pets.  So if two necros have a main and a charmed pet, then there can be 4 instances of necromantic insignia on the mob. Good stuff. <div></div>
