Consumption - Necro Ancient Spell

Now that LU18 just went live.. I wonder... was consumption broken on the test server when this update went live? Comsumption was working fine yesterday and today after update it doesn't proc and no heals either. Is this something known and possibly going to be fixed soon?<div></div>

We're necromancers.. we don't melee, and this spell is cast on the pet... it procs when the pet attacks... if it doesn't proc once in the 15 sec duration of the spell.. that kinda implies that the spell is broken... especially if this happens every time the spell is used... so I highly doubt it's a right or left handed issue. <div></div>

Yep broken! i was trying it... hate to find out your spell is broken when you need it. could be tht the new pet models r not classed right i didnt try it the older pets

<P>Consumption does not proc once when cast, after LU18. Not 1/2 the amount, not once, ZERO.</P> <P> In the morning I will test out the Rending Fury, Necromantic Insignia, Words of the Wicked, Grisly Ward line, because I beleive those spells are not *proc'ing*  either. Might as well start going thru and checking now, so they all can be *fixed/worked* on.</P> <P> *sigh*.</P>

<DIV>Never noticed having aggro from using consumption. It's the pet that's procing, thus doing more damage and healing... so would only assume that pet would logically gain more hate. If anything, and no extra hate is gained, I wouldn't think the caster would not gain more hate via casting consumption.</DIV>

consumption proc is necromancers dmg not pets, you gain hate for it...

umm.. maybe i'm confused... when i 1st got this spell.. i atacked a mob with NO pet... consumption DID NOT proc...then I made the lvl 60 scout pet (with master offensive stance) and had ONLY the PET fight... consumption proced 13 times...so tell me... how is it a necro damage and not pet damage?am i missing something or am i just lost in translation?was only thinking that Warlock procs on the fighters, would be hate toward the fighter, no?

YES the pet does the proc, but the damage is assigned to you. If you look at your spell spam, it clearly states that your consumption does blah blah blah damage or something like that. <div></div>
