<DIV>This says roots and slows target, this a slow as in atk speed or slow as in movement speed? If atk speed are there resist factors involved compared to the hex doll, like would you be more apt to land the spell or doll, which would be better?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Movement speed. If it were a melee attack slow, it would say "Decreases attack speed by X".

<DIV>Well the rank of the spell only factors for resist...once it sticks it's guaranteed full duration as long as the mob does not incur any damage. My adept3 at 60 is effective even in Poets and hardly ever gets resisted unless the mobs are 63~65. That said, I definately would like to get the master for resists. However, master stun I've found is extremely nice because the spell's rank determines its chance to be resisted as well as duration. Makes soloing named a snap.</DIV>

<DIV>the lvl of spell effects resists yes .... but it also effects the resist checks when u do dmg ot mob weither it breaks or not ... i have managed to root and lifetp dot a mob to death with only 1 or 2 breaks at most during the fight .... root lasting normally the hole duration</DIV>

<DIV>I always overwrite root with darkness at all times, works well for me. Practically anything it kiteable with enough room to maneuver between root/snare/stun. Not sure if it's intended, but when darkness breaks and snare procs, casting darkness again stacks with the existing snare and reduces mob movement by % * %. Very nice and lets me solo instance named with ease.</DIV>
