View Full Version : Pet attacking problems after latest update

Have noticed now that there is a lot more occasions when I am able to target a mob and attack but my pet will refuse to attack it. Seems to be occuring when the mob is not on the same horizontal plane as I am.  For example, in SS, killing Rujarks who are off the orc highway, i can hit them with a spell but pet will not attack until they hit me. Prior to LU17, was able to send pet in to attack no problems. Anyone else noticed this?  Hope what I have said makes sense.  Kinda hard to describe. <div></div>

yeah, i have had similar problems wish they would go back to pet can target anything we have targeted. <div></div>

After this patch I send my pet to attack something higher than myself and it either won't let me or if it does my pet takes some wierd pathing and runs 400ft in the opposite direction, turns and goes through 3 walls and goes who knows where after that and takes 8 seconds before he ends up attacking the mob I have targetted, which he usually pulls into his inner wall sanctum anyways.</span><div></div>

<DIV>There are issues with the Shadownight combat art "Deathmarch" that causes a pet to run off in the opposite direction, which I'm assuming is a bug.  I would not be surprised is this then bugs our pet in some way.  Have you guys experienced this solo also?  I know my pet refused to attact some mobs in Silent City last night, but cannot confirm if it was connected to a previous casting of Deathmarch or not.</DIV>

I've had the same problem but its been that way ever since they made the change where you can't send a pet to a target you can't reach ( cliffs and such) but it also screws up if there on a table,rock,ledge,hill ect its stupid.
