<div></div>12/01 Update Notes: -Characters whose name starts with a T will now have appropriately named pets. What in the world is this about? What was the problem with people whose name start with a T and their pets? <div></div>

<P>I think I've seen this problem</P> <P>Instead of the chat box saying Tzenn's pet hits mob for x amount of damage it will say Azenn's pet hits mob for x amount of damage.  It didn't do it all the time, but it does happen.</P>

Yeah, there used to be an 'S' bug as well.  I was glad when they fixed it because Aeeko's Fallen Hero was confused <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

This just seems like a very strange bug lol, and to fix one letter only to bug another is just quite funny (until it comes to my letter that is) <div></div>

I made it seem less silly by doing /lastname Aopi and /petname Topi, so now I am Topi Aopi and my pet is Topi Aopi's Nightshade>. Only seems to be wrong in the name tags as seen in-game... the petnames are correct in the log file and parsing still works. So it's a cosmetic bug only.

Reading this thread makes me laugh about Bug Fixing methods.  Of course I could be WAY FAR OFF the solution, but years of debugging experiences tells me otherwise. From all the clues given here it seems apparent that the bug is caused by 2-3 letters overflow, REGARDLESS of what anyone's First character letter is.I can just imagine the poor programmer going :If ( char.name starts with a 'T' ){  do special fix just for them }Quite hilarious !This should be pretty easy to fix <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

got a chuckle out of everyone in my guild when they saw that in patch notes...  they said "oh man... Twitches is even screwier now?"  i thought it was funny as heck, i mean a bug that is specific to summoners makes me feel like im being picked on. but, a bug specific to me?!  not fair!!! (^__^) bye bye <div></div>

And yes, it really is "<T" specific. "<L" and "<K" were working just fine in last night's raid.</P> <P>Topi, owner of Kenny Aopi's Nightshade></P>
