<DIV>Hi Folks,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If any of my fellow Necros can help with a couple of quick questions, I'd really appreciate it.  Haven't had any luck getting the answers to these questions in-game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm level 40, and I have never seen a faction message cross my chat window.  In EQ1, I seem to recall there being a message (after killing a mob) that would say something along the lines of "Your faction with the 'insert faction here' has gotten better".   Now I'm in Rivervale, and I want to kill the Nymphs, but I'm afraid it will alter my faction.  I'm not sure which faction they fall under, or I guess I could even watch the Persona/faction window for it to change from "Indifferent" to something better or worse.  Anyways, isn't there supposed to be a notice in the chat window when you kill a mob to let you know if you're gaining/losing faction?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I am curious if anyone has suggestions for places to hunt solo at 40.  I have been spending a lot of time in Zek, EL, Rivervale, and Feerrott.  I'd sure like to find a decent dungeon or two to crawl through solo; even if I can't do the most difficult parts... and I'm really not into Harclave as I find it gets rather boring & uneventful after the first time.  I ran through Runnyeye a couple of times, but it seems to be getting a bit green now.  For the parts that aren't green, I can't seem to find a good safe spot to pull to.  I ran to DFC in Zek but the mobs out front see through invis & were quite a bit more than I could handle solo.  I also zoned into CT (if that's the dungeon to the far east of the map in Feerrott) but the mobs were all far too powerful for me to solo yet.   I'll probably try Forbidden Sepulcher instance in EF soon.  Other than that, are there any spots I should try?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance for any help!!</DIV> <DIV><BR>Grays</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Grayswandir on <span class=date_text>11-27-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:00 AM</span>

<P>Faction as far as I know means very little in EQ2, not like in Eq1. Although I think in the DOF expansion they made it a bit more important. As far as where to solo, it sounds like your in all the right zones for your lvl. I just hit 40 and close to 41. Ferrott seems to be the best bet. Get any repeatable creature quests you can and kill multiple mobs for bonus exp. I know I've seen several hunting guids posted, do a search for them.</P> <P>Take care</P> <P>Shanabue</P> <P>40</P>

<P>You can do the solo crawl thru Splitpaw in the hideout once every two hours... I hunted there solo till 45, at 45 it stops scaling with your level and the MOBS all become Lt. Blue or White.  I was getting 25 - 30% on a Hideout/Arena crawl on difficult thru 44.  After that I went immediately to DoF and started my faction work in Sinking Sands.  Quests and kills will quickly get you thru 45 and a few nice items are awarded to help upgrade your gear.  Try the cook over by the camp near the Croc Caves, easy quests and nice reward after completeing the "stolen notes" quest.</P> <P> </P> <P>Gilron Darkscales</P> <P>46 Iksar Necromancer Mistmoore</P> <P>"The scales are tipped in my favor...MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"</P>

<P>Mobs should be more worried about the mesage "Your faction got worse with The Necromancers Of Norrath".</P> <P>Have you tried the Bloodline Chronicle Dungeons and quests (dependant on having bought the adventure pack". Nectropos Castle in Nektulous Forest ias good at that level range, and can be soloed quite safely in the entrance area, and your "Pull" area can become larger as you get more comfortable with the zone. Nice quests and loot in there, as well as the chance to open up Nektropos the Return zone for 50+ by killing the Castles master. Several HQ's also have updates in there or even start in there such as the Mask Of The Deceiver.</P> <P> </P> <P>Just some alternate ideas.</P> <P> </P> <P>Sark.</P>
