Fallen Hero Nerf?

<DIV>I took a bit of a break from EQ2 since Feb-05.  I reactivated my account yesterday (at lvl 27) and saw there were a lot of changes.  Before I left the Fallen Hero pet was my bread-and-butter.  Now I can't find him anywhere.  I'm assuming they took him away?  The other fighter pet  (undying minior i believe) isn't bad, but I miss ole frankinstein.  What happened to him? </DIV>

I think they took him away as a perk and replaced it with some other spell. I heard it was because he did more than just stand there and stare at attackers and we can't have that.

Well the (good?) news is that if you get the master1 of the lvl 52 tank pet, you can have your frankenstein back.Good luck. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

All of the level 20 Adept II spells were removed from the game as part of the combat revamp for Live Update 13. Instead, you have your choice of upgrade one out of four spells to Master II every 10th level starting at level 14. The only pets that can be upgraded to Master II at present are our swarm pets (you can still find Master Is of all other spells, though).
