View Full Version : Control Undead needs a failure message
<DIV>Just got this spell and it's fantastic. However, when a pet breaks the charm we need a VERY visible cue that it's broken besides our health bar going down. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 55 i usually drag around a 51^^^ heroic spectre for fun and it tends to break every 15 min or so. When it does, there's absolutely no cue other than getting beat on. And when you're fighting a group of 4 or 5 mobs it's hard as hell to know who's hitting whom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seems to be a simple fix.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Chumm</DIV>

I have found that, short of using CU as a means to cut down the number of enemy mobs in an encounter/crowd control, there is no reason to charm a ^^+ mob. Their abilities do not remain at ^^+ levels, their life is scaled down, etc., so in the end, all that you're left with is a harder mob to eventually kill. I find that the best mobs to charm are no arrow or ^ mobs that melee. That way, if and when charm breaks, they are easy to kill, can be easily rooted and nuked to death, and melee mobs attack much faster and more often than casters, so they proc with Consumption more often, meaning more dmg and heals all around. =D

Would be nice, enchanters have that problem too, and only God knows how many times I have been killed because of it. <div></div>
