<DIV>I play 53 troll necromancer and I am trying to have as many hitpoints I can get. Right now I am a little over 3500 with buffs but not in a group. Has anybody hit the 5000 or 4000 mark? Just want to know since most of high level necromancers are below 3000 mark on my server on Crushbone. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you</DIV><p>Message Edited by TheScowl on <span class=date_text>11-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:48 AM</span>

<DIV> I was trading int into sta for a bit.... this was before I found out the actual %'s on lich, aftter some testing on the lich spell (the more hp you have the more lich drains you). So, I don't see a real advantage to sheer hp, unless you are wanting to tank mobs. </DIV> <DIV> In eq2 if you can tank the mob yourself then more than likely the tank pet is a better option (and don't give me this "I migitate dmg better than my tank pet", cause with his hp the fight is not in your favor) almost 100% of the time "solo".</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All in all hp are nice but I dont think they are the "bar" as they were in eq1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I re-read my message and it sounded grumpy, I did not mean to be, just stating what I have learned.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Mephlich on <span class=date_text>11-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:20 PM</span>

<P>I am deeply sorry, I am not asking how to play this game or what I should have to make a better Necromancer at this time. I am asking about Hitpoints among my fellow necromancers. I hope this clears this up a bit.</P> <P>Thank you again for your post. Maybe it will help another who is looking for this kind of advice. </P> <p>Message Edited by TheScowl on <span class=date_text>11-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:06 AM</span>

I'm sure its possible to hit 4k or 5k HP with the right HP buffs up. Not so sure about unbuffed or self buffed though.Personally though, I'm more worried about my INT (and damage output) than my HP. But then I'm a Conjuror and don't need to worry bout my HP nearly as much.<p>Message Edited by Xalmat on <span class=date_text>11-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:54 AM</span>

<P>Highest I've seen mine is 4600 or so with two guardians, a fury and an inquisitor in my group. I took M2 Teachings of the Shadows which adds 69 to Int and Sta. </P> <P>I find lots of HP extremely useful for tough situations where I can drain HP and transfer to the MT for an extended period of time. </P>

I completely mis-read your post, and was by no means an attack on your question.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>P.S. 3,500 self buffed is not shabby at all.... I've had a little over 4,200 hp in a group, can self buff to around 3,200hp with the imbued pearl stamina ring.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Mephlich on <span class=date_text>11-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:50 AM</span>

<DIV>I've hit 6k+ in the main tank group. Self buffed I'm ~ 3650ish with my int gear on. More if I put sta dolls and stuff on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think we are a much better tank for solo con mobs, simply because we can just unload lifetaps to heal ourselves up and we dont have to spend extra time casting heals to heal our pet.</DIV>

<P>Thank you all and Mephlich. </P> <P> I do plan on having three versions of my necromancer when I get rich somethime next year. One version will be the power necromancer with bases on Int and high power pool. Hitpoint version to wow the guardians and the Resist version for raids. I have not been on any high level raids yet but have heard high resists help Alot. I have been very happy with my necromancer and I solo pretty well and groups are easy to come by. </P> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you all again</DIV><p>Message Edited by TheScowl on <span class=date_text>11-13-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:09 AM</span>

<DIV>Max Int. = Max damage. </DIV> <DIV> Int. should be the stat every necro should strive for first, cause your spells will suffer if your int. is not maxed for each lvl. More/max stamina is nice, but it should come second after Int., because if you do end up taking aggro( which should not happen) your survivability is low even with more hps. ( Your mitigation is a LOT lower than a tank, so lots of hps. dosnt mean you will survive on equal lvl with a tank). </DIV> <DIV> If you are not doing max/close to max damage with your spells, you will be hurting yourself/people you group with and raids, in the long run.</DIV> <DIV> Sooo....Imo Int. 1st. stamina and everything else next.</DIV>

<DIV>My 60 DE necro is around 3600hp 4700pow self buffed without taking any the + % hp or pow traits.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Using DoF items its super easy to get your sta and int up without having a single fable item.</DIV>
