You're comparing the wrong class to it. Supposedly Coercers are the LEAST-played class out there, hence their spells would be the cheapest (nobody buying). There's even a post on the coercer forum about how he did a /who all coercer in primetime last night on his server, and got TWO hits (including himself).So bad comparison.

My main is now a Necro. Sadly I claimed my JBoots on my Illusionist, bit peeved the things are rotting on a class that sucks, wasted due to SoE <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </span><div></div>

hmm ive seen a great influx of necromancers on unrest server as alts...it may just be that necros are great alts. <div></div>

My necro is on Unrest as well and I have seen an increase in the number of necros coming out of the woodwork.  I think people are going with the summoner class because they are one of the easier classes to level.

Well my main was/is an Inquis and since the changes have not been playing him as much and rolled a Necro.  Been loving it ever since.  On Tox there has been a large increase in Necro, Wiz and Warlocks so our spells are getting a lil expensive
