<DIV>Easy imho.  Tank pet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Look for drawing of souls adept 1 on the broker.  It has been on the lavastorm broker for 10gp for days.  Play around with it at adept 1 then decide if you want to upgrade.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are some nice buffs in there, but I really would get the tank pet first unless you only raid or 6-man group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>greatscott</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ps rares are not *that* rare.  You could consider getting your packhounds to adept 3 then trying for another rare prior to your tank pet level.  Of course you have to consider the packhounds are a master 2 choice at 54...decisions decisions! lol.</DIV>

Definitely get your 52 tank first.  Drawing of Souls is a great spell to have at adept III, but it doesn't get the play time as some of your other spells.

<P>I've done everything just fine with an adept 1 pet.  That PBAoE with lich for 1,200ish from drawing makes it worth it, as does the DoT with power drain from drawing (like 50 power drained and given to the necro per tic, and 175 damage per tic... bloody uber).  The defensive buff is one of the best in the game though the offensive and heal are kinda so-so... another swarm pet for no power cost is great, too.  I use one of the drawing spells most single target fights, no power cost with huge returns makes this spell just that good.</P> <P>I am of the opinion that the adept 1 to 3 tank pet does not offset the versatility and massive power that comes from the drawing spells.</P>

I'm not going to disagree that the soul spells aren't good, they rock, but it just seems more time consuming getting the spells up on my hot bar.  I use them mostly on named mobs or other tough fights. Too bad you can only get 5/6 spells up at a time.

Have a hotbar open with 6 slots open and the spells will automatically go to those 6 spots everytime.  You can easily look down and see what spells you currently have and they are at your fingertips when you need them.  <div></div>

<DIV>Yeah, all six can be up at once though I find it to be rather rare... it seems that there's a 15% chance (or something around there) of getting one of the specific spells... if you have none of them and cast drawing you'll probably get one, if you have five and cast drawing you probably won't since there's a diminishing chance that the RNG will hit that particular spells number (my theory anyways).  This spell rewards constant useage, get used to casting these all the time... they're worth using in every type of fight whether they're five targets, one target or a named.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are just too many benefits to this spell for it not to remain my #1.</DIV>

<P>yeah it's nice that they autofill your first empty spell slots now.</P> <P>I've started using them a bit more often.  I think I'm just too d@mn stingy with them hehe.</P>
