Hi all I chose the the master 2 pet defensive spell from tier5 spell was just wondering if it is worth getting an adept 3 pet defensive stance spell at 56 , if anyone would be kind enough to post the stats of the 56 adept 3 spell I would be greatfull.

From what I heard, the Master 2 level 42 stance is better than the Adept III 56 stance, at least for Conjurors. However, I would still get the Adept 3 level 56 stance in a heartbeat. It's one of those priority spells that everyone should have at least Adept III of.

Because necros have a reactive component to our defensive, I wonder if spell level has an effect on it, or if it's straight unresistable? If unresistable, then you'd want to use the most effective spell, but if the reactive CAN be resisted, then you have to worry about the spell capping, and thus must upgrade.

I'm pretty sure it is resistable, atleast it used to be.

I have the Master 2 def upgrade and the Ad3 level 56 def upgrade. The Ad3 is better on everything except the hp bonus. Ad3 is 14% whereas the Master 2 is 16.5%. In the end the Ad3 seems better in the long run despite having a lower HP bonus. It adds more hate and has a better ward against damage. I think it was an oversight that they didn't raise the % on Ad3 vs the M2 version. It should be superior on all areas. I mean it is 12 levels higher of a spell after all. I could see it happening for Ad1, but Ad3 12 levels higher than a Mstr2 should be superior on all counts.

Ellestil
