The last time I played I used a pet I got at the lvl 20 training ability, a fighter pet. I loved this pet.

Thismorning when I logged on for the first time in 6 months I didnt see this pet option anymore. Did I just miss it or has it been removed? I thought this pet was much better that the warlock pet, or has this changed also? Im just hoping that I can get this fighter pet back because I solo mainly because of my work schedule. Im a lvl 23 dark elf. Thanks for any help.

All training spells are replaced with Master II spell options every 10th level starting at level 14 (14, 24, 34, etc). Fallen Hero no longer exists in the game as a spell (It is, however, the graphic of Diseased Servant Master I, the level 52 zombie pet). The Summoner's Tower has a list of all Necromancer spells for post-Live Update 13.Since you've been gone from the game for awhile, you pretty much missed everything regarding the combat changes. Heres a couple primers from the SOE devs:http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/news_ff.vm?FeatureName=combatchanges§ion=developmenthttp://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=stat&message.id=182http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/news_ff.vm?FeatureName=combatchanges2§ion=developmentThe Warlock pet now vastly outdamages the fighter pets, however they also have the HP of wet noodles. When soloing, you should use the fighter pets in a defense stance. When grouping, the warlock and scout pets in an offense stance. Feel free to experiment, but that's the best general advice.Lastly: Open your spellbook, sort your spells by level (reversed) and read each and every spell's description. Odds are, it's different than you remember.
Message Edited by Xalmat on 10-22-2005 08:15 AM

Sat there for about an hour looking at all the spells I now have and figuring out what changed. Was rather suprised I now have a dumbfire zombie spell. Also didn't we used to have a water breathing spell I no longer can find?

Your water breathing spell is Aqueous Stone, I believe. We get it in our teens when we're still Summoners.

Thanks forgot about that one. Could have sworn I had a spell that let me see invis and breath underwater, ohh well maybe was it a trait, item, or something else.
