<P>It ticks me off that Master I spells are so [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] rare.  I only see a Master I pet spell for sale about once every 3-5 weeks on Mistmoor, and when I do it's usually going for 10 plat or more.    I've had my eye out for Grim Temptress now for a while (getting real close to 48!) but I am not going to hold my breath. </P> <P>FWIW I've never seen a master chest pop with my own eyes.   I've heard stories about them, and see plenty of Master I spells for sale.....</P> <P> </P>

I was lucky enough to find it on sale... was selling for over 10pp... with negotiation, brought the price down to 7pp.  Still quite expensive.  After testing this pet, Im not entirely sure it was money well spent.  Its DPS was rather disappointing.Saw 3 master chest drop in 49 levels... all of them were against Epics.  I have yet to see a SOLO mob drop a master, or even a HEROIC for that matter.<div></div>

I have seen 3 Master chests drop, 2 of them in the little glade in Antonica where the Fanglord and Dancoed of the Pine live. Weird.

I've seen several master chests drop.  Not all had master spells however.  But we did get a master chest with a M1 spell off of a solo mob on the beaches in sinking sands.  I was quite shocked.

<DIV>I've had 2 Masters drop from solo mobs. Got a T5 coercer master soloing in the Splitpaw starter cave, and a T6 monk master from a skellie in SS. Chances are astronomically small though, I think I've just been very lucky.</DIV>

<div></div>The other day I was running around zek when I saw a metal chest up against the wall.  No one else was around so I waited I think 8 minutes and got a fabled weapon from it.  The only master I've seen drop so far though has been from a low level named in commonlands.  Not easy to sell a master 1 scorch spell. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Amra-c0d on <span class=date_text>10-25-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:45 AM</span>

I got super lucky;   I got the M1 Shadowy Assassin spell to drop off a solo mob in Ferrott....  have to love those 1,465 pt hits (only level 49 ATM).
