Get it!  It doesn't share a timer and I know that I still use it at level 52.

<P>Id say definately get it, as it is one of the few non-disease based spells we get and is handy versus those resistant/immune mobs.</P> <P>Also, unlike swarm of rats and ghastly stench, this is not a fnf pet spell, its just a regular DoT with its own timer.</P>

I would say get it, many still use it at 60 it also lowers defence as well as doing a little damage.

Definately get it.  Just think of it as a better static pulse without the snare.  I do wish they wouldn't have made the cast time longer.  It used to be a one second cast time, now it's two seconds.

I will still use it at 60, since it stacks with everything else we have.

i use bats as a pulling spell since it doesnt make lich proc or make my pet take longer to gain aggro off of me. <div></div>

I wouldn't recommend pulling with swarm of bats.  Just send in your pet first since you can pull from a ridiculous distance awy from you.

There are those times when you can't pull with a pet due to your target being too far above or below you.  Then you need a something with range to pull with.

where exactly can i buy the app II version? i have looked all over the N FP mage academy. Someone said something about having to have a book to scribe it, where do i get that at? I cannot afford the adept 3 version yet but really want this spell at the lower version. Thanks for the help! Merick 37 Necro <div></div>

You have to do a series of quests at the Bloodlines Camp in Nek to get enough faction to buy the app2 - or it is easier to get a sage to make the app4 for you.  To do that he needs to buy the recipe book from the seller in the crafting zones.  Same with the ad3 but requires the rare and the advanced book.

Yeah I'd guess most sages would be able to make this for you.  Been awhile since I actually bought mine, but I definitely wouldn't pay more than 10g for an app4, adept III, I'd look to pay the cost of the rare plus 15g, give or take.
