2 quick questions

<div></div>Quick questions for you Necros out there :1) Im about to invest in a pristine "Diseased" imbued ( bone / cedar / xxx ) wand.  Its a manaless nuke diseased based.  My question is...  will it trigger Lich ?2) Swarm of bats, worth getting ?  app 4 ? or Adept 3 ?<div></div>

Not sure if it will trigger lich, something is telling me no.  However the cast time is very slow, however you can run while casting.  It's more or less a last resort when OOP.

I believe the spells that trigger Lich have a specific "trigger Lich" flag attached to them (programmed as a 100% chance to proc, if Lich is up). I'd be very surprised if they had flagged the wand spell, because it's not necro specific. 2a) At 56, I use it in every fight that lasts longer than 30 secs. It's a standard part of my DoT sequence and will still be at lev 60 because it casts fast and it's on a separate timer. 2b) At the time I upgraded, with some high INT, App 4 was 62 pts/tick and Adept 3 was 83 pts/tick. Swarm of Bats was worth getting pre-revamp also, as it debuffed spell avoidance. As that skill no longer exists, it debuffs Defense in general now, making it easier for pets to hit. <div></div>

Nope you can get any sage of the appropriate level to make the app4/ad3 for you.  You only had to have Bloodlines to do the faction quests if you wanted to buy the app2 off the merchant at the camps.

Tested last night.  The disease wand WILL trigger Lich.   Wierd.  Haven't got my tier 6 wand yet, but not gonna go with disease this time.

Yeah, it'd be ugly if it were a two or three second cast time on something you could run with.  I don't see the proc on this as being that big a deal really.  I'f you are so low on mana that your other spells are unavailable, most likely you're gonna be tapping your pet to get mana since that's faster than using your wand.
