Upgrading Spells and Armor

<DIV>I hate to sound like such a newb, however i'm a Level 24 Necromancer. Where should I be going to get spell upgrades and armor upgrades? I was always getting those upgrades in Stonestair Byway, however i haven't gotten any from there since probably level 20 or 21. Should i be check vendors out somewhere for upgrades to my class? Academy of Arcane Science in NFP for spells. Check with your local tailor for armour, or do the armour quests from the witch in EFP (same building as city registrar).

<P>The most important thing for you to upgrade is your spells.  Having them all at app4/ad1 should be a priority, and if you have extra money or find a rare stone/gem then you should look into getting an ad3 made.</P> <P>I would check the broker whenever you log in to see if there are any reasonably priced ad1s for sale that you can use, and also check ahead a few levels while you are at it.  Prices vary per server, but should never be over a few gold in my opinion.  I bought all ad1s for under 3g (many under a gold) by checking the broker often and buying when I saw a deal.</P> <P>Some ad1s are less common than others, and if you dont see one on the broker before you are at the level you can use the spell, I would recommend finding a sage on your server who is relatively active and around the same level as you.   Usually lvl 50+ sages will not want to go back and do grey spells from the 20's.  Settle on a fair price with them and go to them whenever you need an app4 made.  If you are in a guild with a sage, they may make whatever you need for free (depends on the sage).</P> <P>Next, I would check the broker for cheap items you can use, concentration on +INT, for spell damage and power pool, +power, and +hp and STA for hitpoints.  Also, look for posts on this board for good quests you can do for gear, or take a look at Ogaming.com for quest rewards.  There are series of quests you can do now in each large overland zone near your level that reward some nice gear (Enchanted Lands will be coming up shortly for you and has some nice stuff).</P> <P>Hope that helps,</P>
