<DIV>Okay, lich is great. And I have started using food again now so I can keep my health up. And in combat we get all our lifetaps to keep health goin.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However, I was thinking that I made a mistake when I picked my traits. I chose the power regen ones. Calm i think. Now I am thinking that I should have chose the health regen ones. It would counteract many of the adverse effects we get in combat when using lich.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Whats everyone elses thoughts on that? And would I need to get both health regen traits or just one to do this?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>DivinePower</DIV>

<P>at 50 i never have problems with running out of power even post CC. and with lich eating away at us so fast its prob not a bad idea to pick it i myself went with power regen as well but lucky i have a Ring of Removal to help offset the hp drain.  I also have started to use food agin (not used food in 30 lvls lol)</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I'd like another drain spell for our pet that gives us HEALTH instead of power lol Also, I'm wondering about those training choices - might it be better if we had more MAX health than the higher regen? The regen is only +5 health no matter your lvl...the max health is a %. May or may not be better...haven't really looked....</DIV>

I agree with the health regen selection.  ever since the new combat, I've had much more health drained as opposed to power. I still dont have no power problems even with Blood Ritual nerfed. <div></div>

I thought you were asking for more health regen stuff.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>BUT...no....take the POWER regen. These are in-combat regens. Out of combat regen doesn't matter..provisioner food = ZERO downtime. In combat....5 points a tick of health means nothing...but 5 points of power pe tick means another Syphon to stay ALIVE <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As with the necros of old...MANA = LIFE.</DIV>

One thing I am noticing about Lich is that when I am in a group and I am seperated from them, meaning I am not in combat, but the other members of the group are fighting, I start to lose a ton of health.  Even though I have full mana, my health bar steadily goes down.  To the point that I sometimes get in the red.  I have to beg and plead to them to stop fighting till I can get back up to the group because if I accidentally get aggro I will be dead in the first shot.  I was just wondering if this was a bug.  I don't have that kind of problem when I am solo.  Personally I love my adept 3 Lich.  To the point that all I want to do is cast diseased based spells as fast as I can so the proc goes off for 301-306 damage per hit.  Anybody know where I can attain Lich master 1 on Unrest, lol.

I chose health regen when possible.  There are tons of items that can give power regen, and you can reach your cap fairly easy.  My goal is to get enough regen to cancel out the in combat health drain from lich.   I dont recall health regen being capped like power regen was, but I could be wrong. <div></div>

<P>As an old Iksar EQ1 necro, health regen is always more important than power regen, all things being equal.</P> <P>Too many Necros focus on Power Regen and Power Pools when IMO neither of them are the issue.</P> <P>My Necro focus list:</P> <P>1. HP Regen</P> <P>2. HP (a dead necro doesn't do any DPS)</P> <P>3. Resists (see above, in a raid situation)</P> <P>4. Power Regen</P> <P>5. Power Pool</P> <P> </P> <P>With the damage proc on Lich, you'll always want to be in Lich format.  Additionally, our best damage-to-power cost spells are always DoTs and not our Lifetaps.  So for long-term grind sessions and Raid mobs, you want to Lich with the least health cost so that you can use your power in the most damage efficient method, which is DoTing and not Lifetaping.</P> <P>The above comment is correct in terms of gear available.  Power Regen items are more common than Health Regen, typically.  So go for the health regen.</P>
