I just made level 22 last night, and I have a choice of four different traits (I'm not sure if these are racial or not, I'm Dark Elf) -- I was wondering what you all thought would be the wisest choice for a level 22 Necromancer: Sturdy - Increase max health of caster by 2.5% Stalwart - Increase in-combat health regeneration of caster by 5.0 per tick. Centered - Increase max power of caster by 2.5% Calm - Increase in-combat power regeneration by 5.0 per tick. I was leaning towards picking the Calm trait as I thought the extra power regen would be nice, but having never played EQ2 past the current level I am now, I have no idea how Necromancers do with power regen later (pre or post revamp).  So I was thinking either Calm or Centered, but leaning to Calm.  What do you all think? Mana regen is definatly your best bet for now.  I could see where arguements for HP regen would be used, but all in all, you need mana <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>For necros, power = damage to mobs AND, thanks to our lifetaps, HP to us.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 50, I have about 2800power.  If you take the 2.5% increase to power pool, the increase is a whopping 70 power, not even enough to cast a single (good) spell.  I went with the 5.0 in combat power regen increase, because for every 12 tics worth of battle, you regain an equivalent amout of power.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

you might want 1 in combat power regen, but also 1 in combat health regen because so far I've had no power problems. in combat your healing with your group mates and pet with your health. <div></div>
