Yeah! Seems that first spell you should cast is Swarm of rats. It interupts them very much and they are not use to it lol <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> i have it at adept III. Than you can choose. I go with grisly mark (have it at Master I <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) and than LIFETAP (Master II) is LIFESAVER!!!!!!! Fights are very fast after that (they die very fast lol). <div></div>

<DIV>Here are some tips for necros in PVP (strategies i have seen work but others will definitely have better)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tip #1: Remember Stun = Win. Dueling is pretty much a game of stun. Whoever stuns first wins. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Tip #2: Opening spell is what decides the match. Classes with fast stuns like rangers, assasins, wizards, paladins, brawlers will open with that. Our opening spell is 2 choices Fear (0.5 sec) and Seism (2.0 sec).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tip#3: Warlocks, Wizards need 1 spell to kill you. Just 1 spell. You need to keep them interrupted at all times when not stunned/ feared. Rats and main pet are the best for interrupting their spells.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tip #4: Scout classes can go in stealth and we can't see stealth anymore. Usually they will either try stealth or stun as their opening. Its a judgement call then. Fear is faster and works against their stun. But if they instead decide to go in stealth it takes them a blink (0.1 sec) and the only way you can counter that is target them and click pet attack. Oh if open with fear and they go in stealth before that.... you are dead in 1 shot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tip #5: Fighter classes. Don't let them get close. They get close they stun and kill you. You have to run in circles and send pet and try casting either fear or rats on them. If they get close ... you are dead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is the strategy I have seen work best which means a success rate of 1 in 5 since our fear is resisted a lot and is just plain lame (see post above).</DIV> <DIV>fear - while fearing send pet - seism - convulse - rats - lifetap - win.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV>

If you're going against a stealthed player...cast your BPAOE imediately. If they are even close to you, it'll hit and reveal them. Macro /petattack with your opening spells....saves that extra .2 seconds.... Always use Seism against other pet classes as it will stun both pet and player (keeps those nasty aiery stalkers off you for a lifesaving extra moment) <div></div>

<DIV>Here are some pvp tips.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*First off, fear.  Make sure your pet is set to not attack or he will break fear.  Snare them while they are feared then send rats in on them cast stun and then send your pet on them (assassin pet is best for pvp).  If rats are breaking fear too often for you, cast stun first then rats, then lifetap and dot then sprint away and DONT LET THEM NEAR YOU.  That is the key for most classes.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Seism at the start sometimes.  Seism has a 2 second casting time but if you start casting the spell about 1.5 seconds before the fight starts, you can time it to go off almost instantly as the fight starts, then fear.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*DONT LET MELEE CLASSES START OFF NEXT TO YOU, dont just sit there and let a monk or warrior start off right next to you, maybe stand there as the counter goes to 3, but when it goes to 2, go invis or sprint away behind them, if they start off next to you will get stunned and killed, SPRINT IS YOUR FRIEND.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Cast see invis always and remember, seism and pboe will cancel out invis and more importantly, stealth and it will knock them back and stun them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Get pvp gear, get gear with cold resist if you are fighting a wizard, poison resist for a warlock, fire resist for conj, agi and sta gear if you are fighting a melee class ect, if you really are hardcore buy resist potions, trust me they help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Once again, FEAR for the win!  I can't stress enough, fear them asap and make sure they get feared so you can put your dots on them and more importantly so you can get your 3 second stun off.  Against a good pvper, you should/will NEVER get your 3 second stun off because they will interupt you or stun you, I cannot stress how important it is to fear them and to stun them.  Wizards get a stun and ice comet, Rangers get swarm of arrows, assassins get assassinate, monks can stun/stifle you forever, we get fear, so use it or you will lose against a good player.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*Don't underestimate the power of invis.  A lot of classes can see invis and this is pointless, but for the warrior classes and some scout classes that can't, invis right before the match begins.  This will do two things, first they will lose their target on you which means when the match begins they will waste a little time by finding you and targetting you, and second, so you can get away from them, remember, melee stuns are usually < .5 seconds so if you start out next to them, you will die.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you practice up and use these tips you will be nearly unbeatable, us necros are one of the best pvp classes so go out there and prove it!</DIV>

yeah, fear is what makes us great.  i have never had it throw anyone out of the ring like someone else said all you have to do after that is if it is someone with really low HP drop your nukes/dots/rats on person and they are gone or you can root/stun the person especially if it is someone like a monk that if they get within range they can stiffle etc.  so just use fear to get room and then root or stun and they should be easy the only people that can beat me are SKs with their really high disease resist and harmtouch.  prolly has something to do with my terror being a somewaht low level since i haven't ever needed to upgrade it before though. <div></div>
