<DIV>As a lvl 25 necro (still a baby i know) my pet is now taking more damage, hits better on average and holds aggro muc better (Undying Adherent). However, the master II of soothe servant is only healing him for 156 pts. This is a horrible lack of balance and while he has improved in other areas the lack of good healing available at this level is disappointing compared to what it used to be and previously i only had app4 of the spell. I am hoping this improves with lvls???</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Evonne</DIV> <DIV>37 Wood Elf Warden</DIV> <DIV>Sunshyne</DIV> <DIV>25 Dark Elf Necromancer</DIV> <DIV>Everfrost</DIV>

<P>Make sure you are using your pet's DEFENSIVE stance spell, and not the OFFENSIVE stance while forcing him to tank. The pets, at all levels, seem to get chewed up and spit out quickly when you force them to tank with the defensive penalities levied by the offensive buff. </P> <P>I agree that pet healing is a little lacking. Then Jobaber gets low on health, you're going to scramble to keep him alive. Bite off lower level opponents if your pet is consistently getting whacked. </P> <P>I'll re-iterate this one more time. There is a huge gigantic difference in pet tanking ability between using offensive and defensive stances. Use the offensive stance in a group when your pet isn't tanking, or when you have a healer in the party that can manage his health. </P>

Well it doesn't get better with levels. In the mid-30s Mend Bones is absolutely horrible, at least at Adept I quality, and the greyed-out Soothe Servant M2 isn't worth even that. Not sure how much difference an Adept III would make, but compared to how they were before the changes, at the moment pet heals are next to useless. A bit of a boost would be much appreciated. <div></div>
