<DIV>I just hit level 20 today.  I got a pet that is a straight caster, no tanking at all.  Did I do something wrong?  I though u got a pet named Fallen Hero or something.</DIV>

<DIV>the fallen hero was your training option at lvl 20, those have been removed now <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Continue to use your Tellurian Recruit (level 10 pet) until you get Undying Adherent at 24.    The UA pet is a tank.    </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As the other poster mentioned, the Fallen Hero was a level 20 training choice that was removed with the August 13 DoF revamp. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Your Grim Spellbinder (20 pet) is a Warlock, and does great damage for his level.   But, he has virtually no hitpoints, and gets the stuffing beat out of him quickly when tanking.   Use the Grim Spellbinder in a group when you have a real tank to take the blows.    Later on, you will also get a Scout type pet called Shadowy Stalker who does fantastic DPS, but drops like a real scout does when tanking. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Spend the money on an Adept 3 Undying Adherant when you hit level 24. It is worth it. They nerfed the pets and Adept 3 is the bare minimum pet for survivability. They nerfed the heals as well as the pets so you are going to need the highest HP pet you can get.</P>

<DIV>Yeah good luck with getting the adept 3. What is it 40g minimum? Every level 24 has that laying around. Well, you could get lucky and get a silver and coral drop. That is what I am hoping.</DIV>

<DIV>You need palladium or jasper for tier 3 spells. Coral and silver are only good up to level 19 spells. If this is an alt then 40 gold should be chump change, if this is his/her main, then I guess they need to get harvesting in Thundering Steppes or Nektulos.</DIV>
