Raiding with the new necros?

<DIV>Has anybody had a chance to raid anything yet with the expansion?  If so, please share your thoughts and views and experience on the raid.  I have several question about where we fit in now on raids.  Before the expansion, necros would be amongst the highest in DPS if not the highest in long battles. Our hearts were actually worth a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot], because it was better than the manastone.  We could FD and rez which hasn't changed for those time things went really bad.  The way I see out we have very little DOT's so that means we will be nuking more which may be bad because we can't really monitor peoples mana and feed hearts.  I would hate to see the mean AOE casted by the epic mobs take out pets and more than likely us if we are too close.  So if any necros are raiding, please post details. </DIV>

<P>No real change, just keep the dumbfires up and don't heal (players) too much.  The 1 minute recast on rez gates that one so that isn't our primary use and heal generates too much agro to be used in conjunction with all the other stuff.</P> <P>The stones are pretty weak but they're still adjuncts to the manastone, again no change.</P> <P>Overall, we haven't changed from a raid perspective thought with the higher soft cap on stats there's a decent chance of being in the MT group for our stamina buff.</P>

<P>We did a group x2 raid in SS last night.</P> <P>Broog the Banished or something.  A giant with a 100% power drain and boulder toss doing 4500 then 3500 in 2 quick strikes.</P> <P>I was mainly playing DPS and tossed a spot heal now and again on the guardian when he was low.</P> <P>I used my hearts for the healers but again the are on the same timer as manastone it seems.</P> <P>I used my rez once during the fight, but overall I dont see the necro's job changing.  Pet pulling is still a decent way to bring in mobs so far if needed in certain raid situations.</P>

<P>Yeah I asked the Templar how many charges my hearts were giving her at adept 1.</P> <P>She said just one and it was still tied in with the manastone timer.</P> <P>Being I dont use my own hearts and my necro has given the stilettos orders away 3 x, I cannot test it personally.</P>
