Anyway, with the current snare, I can't see it working in either of these situations. I think they wanted to avoid snare kiting, so the changes were meant to eliminate that ability. Fine. However, right now the snare drops when the mob is damaged (and is likely to drop with melee damage). This makes it [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] near impossible to use as a out-run the mob spell. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I am fighting the mob and I run low mana or something I almost always have rats/dumbfire/pet on the mob. Without taking the time to stop all of that (time I don't usually have) I can't stick a snare and run. If I am just walking around and get accidental aggro, I generally rely on my pet to take aggro to save my bacon. I'm not going to turn off "guard me" just so I have a chance of sticking a snare and running away (I would be better off just running after pet gets aggro).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It seems like a snare cap could have avoided many of the problems with kiting.
