Im not entirely sure what Im going to pick for the training options, but I dont think it will matter quite as much now, since you will only miss out on the magnitude of the spells you did not choose, not any particular effect (eq snare).

Also, they have clarified spell lines as far as stacking goes with the revamp. For example, Soothe Servent is now on the same timer as Necrotic Mending, so while in Live now it is useful to have ad3 of both, it will be less effective after the revamp (it will still help though, as the duration of mending exceeds the recast a bit so you could stagger them I believe).

To tell the truth I havent looked into all the training options as much as I thought I would by this time, but I dont think any of your choices will effect you once you grey out that spell and have the next upgrade.

That said, here are the level 44 choices that will effect most of us, and a few comments by me:

Level 44 Necromancer Choices are:

Words of the Wicked (39) - Offensive stance, good for grouping/raid dps, upgraded at 53
Rending Frenzy (40) - Offensive buff - may not be as effective for the caster pets
<STRIKE>Necromantic Symbol (42) </STRIKE> Grisly Stele (42) - was going to be my choice for more effective soloing, but with the pet mitigation nerfs and the nerfs to this spell I am not liking it as much
Necrotic Mending (42) - again with the changes to pets on Beta atm, this is not an adequate heal, even at M2 - like spittin in a empty pool to fill it up

Dev quoted from Beta boards on the def stance change:

Good catch. Replaced Necromantic Symbol with Grisly Stele

===========================
Jared Sweatt
EverQuest II Spells and Combat Designer
