It seems to me if tank types get taunt abilities (their defining thing) maybe we should get our pets as our master 2's I think thats fair but hey I don't know about other classes so i don't rear my head into their conversations and abilities. <div></div>

The problem with putting pets in as master 2 training options is it would make the other options pointless. Seriously would you even consider choosing anything else if you had the choise of a pet? <div></div>

<DIV>I have to agree. I like that having a master pet is a sign of prestige. The only person who looks up to a necro with a Grim Corrupter is someone below level 30. Why? Because all he had to do was get level 30. As it is now, Master pets are a status thing among necros. Also, those taunts are a small part of them. You give us a master pet and you effectively give us better offense, better defense, better taunting skills, and survivability. A pet is a far cry away from a Master Taunt. And based on some of the tanks I've grouped with, I'd never in my life use "Tanks get Master taunts" as a complaint no matter what my case may be.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I didn't see any cries for nerfs...just people saying that a freebie master 2 pet would be too much. Maybe I just missed it.</DIV>

I dunno. if I had a master 1 pet already I would choose the master two pet buff to go with it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> very powerful <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

master 2 pets are more than likely not going to happen, they would be overly powerful and should stay a status symbol among summoners not the things that everyone has or atleast if they are smart they have. pet buffs are enough for me when it comes to master 2 spells because there would be no point in not choosing anything but a master 2 pet unless you had the master 1 already. <div></div>

<P>Well maybe its not asking for nerf, i should have chosen a better title, agreed.</P> <P> </P> <P>However, one thing I know: If the Wizzy gets his Uber Nuke free at MII, I should get an uber pet at MII to make it fair.</P> <P>Incidently; all the peoplewho are complaining about status and master pets, would be at our end of the table if they hadn't got them themselves. What i mean is, you have not done anything More/Better/Cooler dan me to get it, you just got extremely lucky. You would be right if you had to do a Super Hardcore Extreme Difficult version of the Heroic arena, SOLO in order to get it. I would not be able to do such a thing. And if you can, that makes you far better then me and yes you SHOULD get something for that.</P> <P>The only GT i ever saw on our server was from an [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] asking 20 (dropped till 14) plat for it. No way i'm paying that for any spell or status.</P>

That thread is full of comments by summoners saying it's a bad idea.</P>

wow so these people are basically asking to be a ^ lvl 50 tank and healer and in one? if the pet was master two i think it would have to at least be a single ^.... i personally have the ad III tank pet at my level (while thats only 22 on this toon i've been playing since launch with others so i do know the game). i group with a 22 assassin only and have no problems taking and keeping aggro with my ad III pet. together we have no problem taking heroics on our level or lower.... i was able to pick another training option at 20 instead of the pet and im very happy with it. if i was offered a master 2 pet i would (hands down) take it, thereby forcing a "specialization choice" on me. i say boooooo, no dice. <div></div>

<DIV>I'm not sure how the under of overcon system works for our pets. I know that my tank pet has always been undercon and my warlock is normal. I'm not sure about masters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for saying that we'd be on your side of the table if we didn't have masterpets already... I don't even have a single master spell. I got a Master Petrify when I was lower level, but since it was soon to be outdated I decided the money I could get out of it would be better for me. Master pets are powerful. There is a difference between having a nuke that hits for master 2 damage and having a sustained damage pet with Master 2 damage output and/or tanking ability.</DIV>
