Help the gimped Necro!

<DIV>Ok, so I didn't research as I should have as these options came to me, and didn't pick the lvl 20 hero pet as I probably should of.  Here's what I'm dealing with right now:  I mostly SOLO.  I've got Adept III Telurian pet, and the Warlock I have is Adept one.  Am I better off just sticking with the Telurian?  The warlock seems to die pretty quick unless my tactics are horribly wrong.  If I should stick with the Tellurian for now <it's honestly suiting me just fine, though I'd love better>, at what point should I concentrate on upgrading pets?  Wait for the next hero pet?  Upgrade to Adept III one of the future pets?  ANY help would be greatly appreciated by this troubled newb.</DIV>

<P>You get your next tank pet at 24 - the undying adherent.  Also, the combat revamp is coming in less than 2 weeks and that will erase all the training options (including poor old fallen hero) and they will be replaced with a choice of master 2 from a list of 4 taken from your current spell list and given every 10 levels.</P> <P>So for now I would say use that ad3 recruit till 24 and then use the UA.  Once the revamp hits, the assassin and warlock pets will be fixed and viable option for certain playstyles and grouping.</P>

I used the ad3 Recruit til 26, he was just a flat-out better tank than my app4 Adherent.  After 26 he still could take dmg better, but he had aggro holding issues. <div></div>

Thanks for the advice all!  Guess I'm in the same boat as alot of others, wait and see what the next update does for us.
