As a post by Blackguard said in another post:

Training changes:
- Every ten levels (level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60) you can now choose from a list of four spells or arts to upgrade to Master II quality.
- This replaces the previous Training abilities, which have been removed from your Knowledge book.

My girlfriend's character was already 50 when she copied her character over, and it looks like she can only choose her level 50 training, as no option for the others came up and she didn't have a banked /respec. Anyways, here are the level 50 choices:

Level 50 training options:

Aspect of Undead

Exchange Life (This is the one that she picked...at Apprentice I, it healed for 448 for a cost of 560 health. At Master II, it healed for 952 for the same amount of health.

Skinrot

Stench of the Grave

Anyways, wish I could show the numbers for the rest, and what the other options were for the other levels, but with no /respec, that's the best we could do. I hope it helps anyway...good luck all.

Message Edited by Thuyker on 08-25-2005 08:00 AM

meaning the level 10 and 40 snare component training abilities are gone then :smileysad: really not happy about losing both my snares, that is for sure as it leaves me with the doll, which on its own, isnt that great.

Message Edited by Tinantier on 08-25-2005 04:08 AM

Looks like Exchange life and Stench of the Grave are the obvious choices because the other 2 get upgrades later on. I would choose Exchange life since most people probably have Stench as Adept 3 or higher.

It seems really odd that one of the upgrade spells is skinrot, one that gets upgraded at 57.6... the others are all top of the tier spells whereas skinrot is a 43.

Woulda made more sense to have grim terror as one of the upgrade choices since it is in the proper level ranges when compared to the other upgrade choices... though most people would probably be running around with a lamia if this were so.

As it stands, your girlfriend probably picked the right training choice .

agreed, combined with the various spells we have to heal ourselves at 50, this would be the obvious and imho, most useful choice.

that is one hell of a heal, i can not wait for this expansion to go live. increase in DPS, in combat rezz, a nice heal (very nice at master 2), our pets now do appropriate DPS, our root is now very nice, and stun is 2 second cast.

I agree that is a very nice heal, and depending on what kind of aggro it creates and how well the new tank pets taunt, this could be very good for soloing as well as in groups/raids.

Woot - ding 200.

Thanks,

Seeing as 'Exchange Life' transfers life from the necromancer to the target ally, does this mean that the heal can't be used on ourselves?

<EDIT - was looking at the exchange life - the master 2 would indeed heal for more!! Sorry Im an idiot>

Hmmm 400pt power free heal every 8 seconds if you can cast on yourself - very interesting

I hope you can cast on pet at least, that would give us a nice direct heal.

Message Edited by Eirgorn on 08-25-2005 08:56 AM

I have posted the 2 master 2's that I took on my website now. T6 is two pet buffs, Grisly Ward, and the pet heal.

Interesting change...

Necros used to be able to snare effectively with 2 training options + hex doll (~90% snare). Conjurors used to have no ability to snare.

Now Necros can't snare at all other than hex doll and Conj can snare 90%+ with hex doll.

That seems a really big switch. I wonder if that is intended?

Greatscott
