Training spells still haven't been balanced for the new combat changes. Pay this no heed.

I dont have the exact number sin front of me. but using a hex doll, stench, and feedback results in about a 87% snare. so If this stays the way it says, and actually works. your basically rolling all three spells (snare wise) into one minus 4 or 5 %. which IMHO is awesome. Since when I kite I constantly keep all 3 on the mob this just means I have really only one to worry about now. seems like it would make life a little easier.

<div></div>hmm, 83% seems excessive to me.  its well known soe arent keen on kiting, and (from memory, its a while since i played eq1), our best snare there was 70%,  83% will bring the mob to a virtual standstill which would make kiting very easy - and that makes me wonder if that is a typo at best (i.e. slows mob <b>to</b> 83% ?) if it is correct though, you wont need a hex doll or the 40 training option, as 83% snare would be pretty awesome. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Tinantier on <span class=date_text>08-23-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:44 PM</span>

<DIV>Nearly every class gets huge snares like this. Dirges can snare 1 target > 100%. I saw a Dirge do this and the mob ran around like it was feared.</DIV>

so is kiting still possible with this spell or are there enough resists that it isn't really possible? <div></div>
