<DIV>Ok, this was copied out of the Beta patch notes for yesterday (8/15/05). I know they haven't hit test yet, but if there is anyone in beta, info on how this change impacts our pets would be appreciated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It could be rather significant, or it could be pretty minor. But, a reduction in health AND and lowered mitigation raised a red flag for me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for any information in advance.</DIV>

The NDA on Beta is still in effect. A person risks suspension for talking about Beta :/ Have to wait for it to hit Test to find out. <div></div>

They have reduced our pet's health and mitigation from what it was on beta this past weekend and I'm interested on before and after look to see if it's a large difference, i.e. we have to heal our pets constantly, or relatively minor impact.</P> <P>At my level (43) and playtime, I have no thought of getting to 50 before the expansions released. I'll be around 46. If the game is fun, I could care less if it takes a little longer to level. Everyone knew they were going to slow down the exp rate. I fully expect 51-60 to be hell levels from back in EQ1 days. Have mini dings along the levels with new spells or combat arts to still make it seem like we are progressing. </P> <P>But it is quite obvious that after the revamp, our pet(s) will completely define us, even more so than now because our loss of the Parry skill. So, as someone who primarly solo's, any change to our fighter pet and I'm going to be concerned. </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I'm told by a friend that it wasn't much of a reduction and tank pets are still very good at tanking on beta.</DIV>

Once again, you've provided good info. </P> <P>Also, I was under the impression that now that combat changes have rolled to test they are at liberty to discuss combat changes. They are not however allowed to talk about post 50 spells, DoF content, new features, etc. I could be wrong though.</P>

<P>You are right wurtin.</P> <P>Anything pretaining to lvl 50 and below on beta can be talked about except the arena stuff and a few other things, but the combat and item changes can be talked about freely.</P>
