Lich master after combat change

<DIV>Is Lich Master I going to be a good spell after the combat change?  I have the option to get this spell and wanted to know some more information about it.  I  know the shapechange sucks compared to the Adept 3.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After the combat change is this spell just like a damage spell.  Or like it is now where you just leave it on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
