<DIV>From the sounds of it on test server, every class will be significantly improved.  I know some of our items got nerfed, but in the long run we will make out WAY on top.  I enjoy the fact that we as necro's finally got someone's attention, but so did most of the other class' concerns.  I fear that almost everyone will be over powered, and the game will have a sense of ease to it.  Is SoE going to make changes to the mobs to make them more difficult?  My fear is we will have a "taste of the highlife" then get completely nerfed.  I'd rather do without if thats the case.  We've managed to survive thus far.  Just a concerned poster, not intended for a buzz kill.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div></div>From all reports, the game is harder post-revamp.   While necro dmg (and caster/scout dmg in general) is going up, fighter dmg, priest heals, and mana regen are all being nerfed. Fighter self-buffs are getting an across the board change, so plate tanks will no longer have an easy time reaching high levels of Avoidance, as well as mitigation.  MANY classes have lost debuffs.  Lots of the fighters have lost self-haste spells (but not Monks!  woooo), and Clarity cannot be cast ouotside of group (no more "one chanter clarities the whole raid").  Many buffs that were group-wide are now single-target, and take a concentration slot.  In-combat rez was removed from a couple classes, so the tank going down could be a MUCH bigger problem now. Who knows...we're just going to have to wait and see. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Nefarien on <span class=date_text>08-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:44 PM</span>

<DIV>My test summoner is much funner then my live necro (summoner ~16 necro ~42)  my pet has taunts and usefull skills.  one time i was very far from someone in my group and i sent the pet in and i see some mobs running to the pet.  guess it has very far range hehe.  I can pull with a nuke and the pet will take aggro off me in a few sec.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think a summoner pet could duel someone and win (= lvl and spell quality with avg. armor)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can't wait for this to go live and play my 42 necro.  I hear necros get a nice in-combat rez.  that paired with FD can save a raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>some bad things i see so far are;</DIV> <DIV>**loss of some buffs do to less concentration space. (magi shielding is 3 concentration and works well but near useless for summoners because pet+pet buff is 3 concentration.  could help chanter/sorc solo safer maybe)</DIV> <DIV>**mages/healers don't have parry (gain a skill called focus which helps casting when being attacked)</DIV> <DIV>**spells of lower teirs do not stack with each other.  i think if 2 people cast spells they will stack but 1 person can't stack 2 same line spells.  (Ex. low lvl mage DoT dosn't stack with mid lvl summoner DoT)</DIV> <DIV>**sometimes the pet will taunt from far ranges so if you change you mind and call it off the pet could have pulled already.  (say you cleared everything and see a mob far off in the distance....send pet to pull it then a few adds pop and start killing the group just as your pet returns with some more.  hard to explane but could be a downside...)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is from a summoner Point of View might not apply 100% to necros but some info should</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now if only they gaive us or the pet scythes and nice evil looking armors.  would look like a real undead master.  hate to be running around in a purple robe lol......</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ragefighter - 50 Inquisitor - Permafrost</DIV> <DIV>Zeayu - 42 Necromancer - Permafrost</DIV> <DIV>Ragefighter - 16 Summoner - Test</DIV><p>Message Edited by Ragefighter87 on <span class=date_text>08-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:13 AM</span>
