<DIV>Hey guys I am 48 now and kinda getting tired of the Paw scene for soloing.  As I am not all knowing and worldly (and can't find anything on search) would any of you guys know of any good solo instances for necromancers?  Paw was fun for the first couple weeks but now after living there it is getting old.  Ideas?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Not sure about instances. There is one in Everfrost near the minotaurs but at 50 it was all grey. I spent most of my solo time on the main ice plain in everfrost (after the tunnel with all the spiders). Lots of agro and non agro mobs here that range up to 50 so xp was pretty good and the drops used to be OK too. Tundra walker stuff drops here that is good resist stuff for raiding purposes. If you can kite (I never bothered to learn) I believe this is a good area for this too.

I second that.  Don't spend all your time in splitpaw it will drive you nuts.  Best to just use that place when you only have a small amount of time. The everfrost spot is good and you can have some fun kiting the double ups around. <div></div>

<P>I know of the area your talking about, I had that named [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] wack me two times when I wasn't paying attention behind me.  T5 zones suck for the whole "solo" experience....</P> <P> </P>

I thought T5 soloing would be worse than before, but I've found no shortage of it, especially in EF. EF seems to have a very good tiering in each area...there's spots for groups and spots for solo in each 'county' of the zone. T4 stunk by comparison.</span><div></div>

<P>Yep BJ and the Bear err I mean Tundra Jack and hist dancing panda...</P> <P>Well when I was comming up thru the lvls being a patron I hung out at the spider/turtle spots in EL and that was great exp while gaining status, I move into EF and start killing the dudes (forget their names) there for status but from what I understand in EL the spiders are now ^^ so I guess that would have been a large hit to the soloers however EL is rich with solo mobs and easy 3 group setups.  EF now the dudes are grey and the yellow crap out past the spiders by BJ and the Bear isn't exactly exciting to kill (the pre paw area).  What I was looking for is a good dungeon crawl or something.  I thought I heard word that there were some solo instances for upper lvls but I can't find any of those posts now.. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

What is your strategy in splitpaw.  I  am trying to do it with my necromancer but it seems that eventually I get killed a lot. <div></div>

Can someone give me a basic breakdown of what you do to take on the MOBs of 3-4 when soloing SP instances? I need help figuring out what spells I should be using and how I should be using my pet to control aggro. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

<P>Pet on one. Root one. Burn down.</P> <P>Usually...once I drop one of them, the root has broken and the pet is alreayd helping me on the one I had hitting me.</P> <P>The basic strategy is to have as few hitting you as possible and kill the ones hitting YOU not the pet. Use your fighter type pet for this, BTW. Also...don't change targets...kill one at time of the ones that are hitting you.</P> <P>I did Delving Into the Darkness, Upper Tunnels, Harclave (solo) and  The Hideout, all solo using this method.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Here's how I take on multiple mobs:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) send pet in to attack one, with a ward up on your pet</DIV> <DIV>2) while pet is running in, target a different one</DIV> <DIV>3) as soon as the pet hits the 1st one and the others start running towards you.. hit the attack button to put the pet on another.  Idealy, this 2nd target will be one farether away, so that the pet can catch him right away, rather than chase it all the way back to you.</DIV> <DIV>4) as soon as the pet has aggro from the 2nd mob, sick him on the 3rd, and repeat if there is a 4th</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>5) up to this point, I have cast 0 spells.  Now, I tab through the mobs, having my pet beat on each of them until they are all at 80% health.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>6) Now, I start casting spells... on my pets target.  I cast 3 dots, and if by the time I'm done casting the mob is down to 40%, I swtich my pet to a dif target, and chain nuke the dot'd one down myself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>7) then repeat step 6) until all are dead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cast Heal over time and nuke heal and ward if needed, but only after all mobs are down to 80%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Using this method.. I never get aggro on myself, except for once the mob is in the red and I'm chain nuking, but that's fine.. I won't get hit more than once or twice before it's dead anyway.</DIV>
