<DIV>Right now i mainly solo with my pet spider as a summoner, but i dread to get into group because my pet will run away in instances.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was wondering hows the pet pathing in instances for necromancers?  Does it get better?</DIV>

Its not that great but the saving grace is that your pet doesn't agro everything when he goes awol.   Some zones are better than others but none are 100%.  <div></div>

My favorite part about the pet pathing, is if you jump up onto a plane the pet cant walk directly onto (like on a statue in CT near the entrance) the pet will go bonkers and run allllllllllllll the way across the zone. See ya Lebantik!

<P>Pet pathing could be better, ESPICALLY in dungeon style zones.  Split Paw it goes nuts, and even in the mine shaft in Zek, he goes a little crazy.  Like an earlier poster stated, we survive b/c it doesnt aggro everything.  It's more of an irritant than a true problem though.  There are MUCH more critical issues that need to be worked on <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  You'll get the hang of timing when it goes AWOL, sometimes it just take walking around a corner and it comes back.  Sometime you'll even lose him for a min or two, then POOF, he's standing right behind you <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  Sneeky Sneeky!</P> <P> </P>

Just want to add actually to check the battle spam for him.  Often even though he is not visible he is often there in sprit with his vacuous presence. It's better to see him but during a fight then leave it as you are still getting the damage output from him. <div></div>

Or better yet... if pet is awol too long and you need him, SUMMON A NEW ONE.  Not like in EQ1 where it cost you a bone everytime you wanted a pet.  The old one will forgive you and the new one will jump for joy.

<DIV>I had my RT run into a wall in solo arena and the champ (was in orange hp) broke the encounter and started regaining HP fast so i lost that fight do to some unlucky pathing.  i think it had something to do with lag.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>RE has some messed up pathing.  every here and there you will see a pet or mob run down the hall and then run back in the middle of the path.  gets anoying.  pathing could be good sometimes,   say a fight goes bad.... jump up on something and have the pet run off with the mobs and you can run away safely :smileyhappy:</DIV>
