<div></div>Every time i go for a solo exp trip(lvl 42 necro), after a certain number of fights(at least 5 but no more than 15, approximately) i get locked in combat mode after i win a fight.  Dismissing my pet always fixes the bug.  However, if i were to leave myself in combat mode(by not dimissing my pet) and fight another battle, i will sometimes get out of being stuck in combat when i win.  Hovever, if i do not dismiss my pet, then the bug will continute to get worse and worse, and fighting additional fights(as long as i don't dismiss my pet) will increase the chance that i will be stuck in combat mode after each fight - up until the point where no matter how many fights i win, i stay in combat mode until i dismiss my pet. This bug is a direct result of a major change to mob pathing that went live some time ago - there was an update shortly thereafter that was supposed to decrease almost all instances where this bug occured, however, the bug is still persistant and very bad for me. <i>No other class i play gets stuck in combat anywhere near as often as my necromancer, and it must be directly related to having a pet as dismissing the pet temporaily fixes the bug</i>.  As it stands right now i have to dismiss my pet <u><b><i>at least</i></b></u> once every 10-15 fights.  Incredibly annoying, and simply unacceptable. My sig line says it all. <div></div>

Spamming this across class boards will not gain popularity <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> and also does not guarantee anything except maybe moderator attention.  Believe me buddy i want it fixed too. <div></div>

<DIV>When soloing, you only get stuck in combat mode if YOU get the kill shot with a DD spell.  I have got in the habit of not nuking at the end but letting the dots/pet get the finishing blow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't understand why it would get worse over time.  I would think it would be random based on your likelihood of finishing with a DD.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, definitely something that needs fixing, but you can minimize it a bit with this strategy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Greatscott</DIV>
