Soloing

I am new and can't decide which to choose. Either a sorcerer for the RP aspect and hope it gets better as far as spells and the fun aspect goes or a Necromancer. If I go necro, how well do they solo as I will solo a LOT?</DIV>

I've pretty much solo'd up to 41 now and it hasn't been hard or boring. It also looks like we're going to make out nicely with the changes on test now.</DIV>

Also, try yellow/orange solo mobs in TS/Nek. There ARE single mobs out there and you should be pretty good against high lvl solo mobs and lower lvl heroics. Once you get boon of the lifeless, you'll be able to put all the mobs onto your pet when fighting groups of solo mobs (think that's a lvl 25 spell?). It gets better with BoL for the multi-mob encounters.</span><div></div>

How on earth you make 5pp?!? I've been playing just over 2 weeks now, level 25 at the moment and soloed all the way. The one thing I have found difficult is upgrading spells, think most all of my spells now are Adept 1, but I can't find pet spells of Adept III anywhere. If I could figure out tradeskills I think I'll end up making them myself hehe but I really have no clue on tradeskills. To answer the OP....soloing...easy <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I've just got that BoL spell can't wait to try it out!! Soloing can be tricky at times for necros.  Single mobs are the easiest to solo, while group mobs are the hardest.  Lower level soloing can also be tricky because until level 28 you just don't have the full line of necro spells.  But once you do get going above that level it will get easier.  To the point solo red conned single mobs or kite solo white and yellow heroic mobs where the xp is just insane.  Techniques about doing these tasks have been posted already so just do a search on this board and you will find very usefull info on this very subject.

5 plat by lvl 30 happens when you sell the rares you find... thats simple enough summoner soloing (necro/conjur) is by far the safiest if the fights not going well throw a last heal and run for your life will your pet stalls him. Though from what i was reading in the forums it seems alot harder to run from a mob. thats going to be rather hard on new players with lousy gear

I make 75g per tier 3 soft metal/gem.
