What race are you?

Hey all, I played a iksar necromancer in eq1 (male character) and loved it. His name was Lattila Thenun (a play off of Attila the hun) and was a iksar necromancer. I feel iksars are the best cause they are supposably the "evilest" race. My questions are: 1. What race is your necro? Why? 2. Would being a Iksar really hinder my gameplay? 3. Does anyone have any pictures of Iksars in robes and stuff (necro gear?) Thanks <div></div>

1. What race is your necro? Why? Dark elf, My necromancer in EQ1 was a DE necromancer as well, the reason i decided to go DE again is simple, I love the lore behind the race and i love the look of blue elves. anyways  always go with what you love to play in the end you will be glad you did. 2. Would being a Iksar really hinder my gameplay? I really do not see anything that would hinder your gameplay being an iksar, infact before i started i gave iksar some thought, but the way they currently look in game is just not how i wanted to be portrayed. 3. Does anyone have any pictures of Iksars in robes and stuff (necro gear?) No, however you might be able to find some in the screenshot area or by searching in yahoo <div></div>

<P>Race</P> <P>Erudite.  Bald, greyish color skin, evil looking eyes, and more aware of the arcane arts than anyone.  In most of the lore that I have heard of, necromatic arts were practiced by very evil, but very knowledgeable people.  I personally choose evil, because I'm too nice in RL <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> .  </P> <P>Would being a Iksar really hinder my gameplay?</P> <P>At this point I do not think so.  You may have some mana issues at first, but that is only in the beginning.  There is PLENTY of gear that gives mana, and once you get a pet, a couple of levels later you can start tapping it's health for mana.  And as any necro of decent level will tell you, mana is never a problem for us <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  The coolest thing SoE did in eq2 was give any race the ability to play any class. While some classes are designed for a specific "type" of race, you are not limited which is cool.  I've actually seen a couple of barbarians running around in a robe (talk about an odd site <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  ).  I have an alt which is a rat cleric.  The first couple of level I burned mana very quickly, but as I leveled and got better gear, it became a lot more manageable.  Plus its really fun to play a race/class that you dont see very often.</P> <P>Does anyone have any pictures of Iksars in robes and stuff (necro gear?)</P> <P>No I do not, and I can't even think of seeing one in a robe.  I mostly see that race playing a monk or a bruiser.</P> <P> </P>

1.) dwarf (yes dwarf. they are very traditional necros. Old school Europe). 2.) nah. the small drift in ability points is effectively meaningless. 3.) there is a lizard in a robe in the back room of the Freeport Cleric Guild. -T <div></div>
