Necromancer partner

If your friend chooses Fallen Hero at 20 then FH can prolly hold arrgo from a rouge backstabbing if played right.  OR  an inq could keep pet healed and warded and Necro could DD and DoT. I would guess that healing arrgo would be greater than DPS at that lvl. A 20 inq heals for 311 I think and that would generate more hate than the pet could counter-act. <P>My wife and I play a necro/defiler combo, and it rocks. I have a ton of noxious debuffs, and she's got some herself, and out offense is all based on that damage type. She has some great buffs for my pet, and the wards are a big help. In the early levels, yes it can be a bit tough as a duo, but as the necro levels, things just get better and better for this duo.</P> <P> And if you add a warlock in there, you have zero need for a tank, so long as you have adept III tank pets. It's a very nice trio. My wife and I have had some awesome times in a trio with a warlock in Permafrost.</P> <P> </P>

For a duo partner, your best bet is to have someone that needs to stay at a distance from the mob like you do.  So priest or mage would be best.  It'd be even better if they both had same debuffs, so Defilers and Warlocks would be best IMHO.

<P>I box a Inquisitor with my necro.  It is kind of an odd combo though since my necro is 47 and my inquisitor is 37.  I just gain agro with pet move Inquisitor in behind mob and put on auto attack while spamming some whimpy Dots or DD spells.  With that level difference I have only once stole agro from pet and that is because pet was bugged.  Having that ability to toss out some heals is well worth it though.  Back before I out leveled my Inquisitor I was having fun boxing in TS and Nek though.  I used a similar combination in EQlive so I was used to the concept.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
