Not sure if it's noted elsewhere on these boards but, groups illusions also affect the rats(and I assume other temp. summoned pets). It's been fun lately watching two mini skellies come out, cackles and all. <div></div>

Whats even funnier is, get the new mushroom pet from Splitpaw and then cast skeletal regime and you will have a tiny skellie running after you. I bet it will be nerfed though since its too good <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> /atziamhe <div></div>

Very useful to me since a lot of mobs are 100% immune to us and it noramlly will land being magic damage (words of force that is) and its a really fast recast. Not great damage but better then sitting there.

That's actually a fantastic spell with it's fast recast it gives us another damage type that will put us around 110 personal dps... not bad at all.

<DIV>The spells skill requirement just says unlimited... does it scale up to 50? Sort of looks that way how I am reading it, and it would make sense with the level 20 to 50 splitpaw instancing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV> <P> <P>Update: Nevermind! I found my answer on the spells forum. I guess it is usable at 20 and scales all the way to 50. Sounds great! I could use another DD at my level (26).</P><p>Message Edited by Phamask on <span class=date_text>07-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:44 AM</span>

Yes if it is unlimited it is similar to the mastery spells which level up to 50 (further once DoF comes out) <div></div>

<DIV>Actually the spell is terrible from all the testing ive done with it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It gets resisted more then half the time and if it lands it always does less then half of the normal damage rating it shows when inspected and the "proc" part is no different.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I dont have logs to paste but just test it yourself alot and see for yourself.</DIV>

<DIV>Didn't know if you all knew this, but you can actually tap the new mushroom companion which may be good for those times when running low on power and your pet is running low on health. So it isn't as worthless as people thought. Now two taps on it will kill it but well worth it. I hope they don't change that aspect of it.</DIV>

Can you have it out at the same time as the necro pet? <div></div>

Yes you can urb. It runs behind you. Its a pain in the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] because you can also accidentally buff your mushroom instead of your real pet. <div></div>

I got the new DD spell last night and I am very impressed with it. It doesn't do the full amount of damage as the description says, but it is on par with my adept 3 Pestilintial Blast. I would think people with higher Int. will get better numbers from this spell, since last time I checked my intelligence was sitting around 160 and being level 35 which isn't too bad. My DPS has definatley gone up some because of this spell. So it's a great spell for us necros, but other classes may not be as happy with it.

<div></div><div></div>can you get this spell somehow without the adventure pack like how you could get swarm of bats without bloodlines? <div></div><p> <span class="time_text"></span></p><p>Message Edited by quamdar on <span class=date_text>07-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:11 AM</span>

Where do you get the group skeleton illusion? I forgot about that spell and I don't see it on the necro spell list. Is this one of the fluff spells you can buy in Freeport?
Eirgo

Yeah its a fluff spell called Nylph's Skeletal Regiment. I believe it is found with all the others in the Academy of Arcane Science in NFP.

<DIV>Could someone pls explain how it is possible to tap the shroom instead of the pet?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Doesn't really work 'instead of'...but if your pet dies, when you cast the tap spells you'll tap the shroom instead (also works for the spirit of giidib if you have one heh) <div></div>

Curious about that myself. I assume you target the shroom?

<P>I havent tested it much, but I know right after I got my mushroom pet, I was fighting in one of the other SP zones and I noticed my pet heals werent helping my RT, and while my pet window said my pet was 100%hp and power, if I cursored over my RT it would show that was not the case. I finally realized that my pet window had my shroom targetted and he was getting all my buffs/heals and my RT was just eating it. So I dismissed my shroom and havent seen him since. I posted this in one of the Splitpaw forum, but I dont think it even got a single reply.</P> <P>Eirgorn</P>

By default it might be that the buff will go to whichever pet was cast first and has its name on the pet window. I haven't tested this alot, but I'm betting that's the case. The healing aspect of the pet buff works though as I tested it on my shroom after ticking off one tick of bloddy ritual. Also, if you have the shroom and your normal pet out, they'll both obey your commands for 'stay' and 'follow' (but the spirit froggie won't). Would be interesting to test more on the pet window part...could be that if you cast the shroom first then your pet, that you could tap him first...but actually targetting definitely didn't seem to work.</span><div></div>
<P>i think ur wrong about the spell when i used it ony 8 types of different creatures ,tehy only resisted like 1 time:robotindifferent:.</P> <P> </P>
