I've solo'ed a bruiser into the 20's so far and it's gone about 10X quicker than necro

Fighter classes, especially pallys...I believe druids are also quite easy solo <div></div>

A friend plays a Fury as his Alt and finds it a powerful solo class.

with the upcoming spell and combat revamp, the soloability of each class will likely change, so take everything with a grain of salt.  I hear Guardians have the easiest time soloing.

<P>After getting an Assassin to 40, I thought I would play a good solo class. So thinking back to EQ1, I made a necro...woops.</P> <P>While I *can* solo as a necro, it is a pain in the butt to kill anything that is in a group. At least for me. I had better luck soloing with my assassin, but I enjoy the necro a LOT. However, it still didnt amount to a good solo bet for me so I made an SK and tried that.</P> <P>Let me tell you, the SK can do things I didnt think could be done. Soloing many mobs at once, decent balance of DPS and tanking...I like the sk a lot for soloing.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>My main was a templar (level 44) but I got tired of having 0 dps so I started a warlock alt for a change of pace. My templar is still level 44 and my warlock is level 50. I soloed almost all 50 levels; it wasn't my original intention but the XP soloing was better than the XP I could get in most groups. It definitely takes some time and quite a few deaths to figure out how to solo a warlock but it's very efficient once you get the hang of it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
