heya guys I have a necromancer named Zaern Hatebringer on Blackburrow. My first class was a troubadour but more friends from eq1 moved over and we are mentoring them some so i made a necro as a fun toon and fell in love with thier dark power. I need to know what are the must have quests for necros and really anything else that can help seeing i lvled to 20 without doing anything other then the class quest. Play on people and if your not having fun at it you are doing something wrong!

All of your AQs from Kirsteh the Witch in East Freeport, the return of the light heritage quest because it's in the commonlands, the tour of the commonlands quest for the nice bag, EL access and Dragoon heritage quests in Nek as soon as you can. Also Haddens Earring in thundering steppes (and the nek casltle access quest in nek as a necessity). Like most other mages I try and quest for armour and jewlrey and such like - saving all of my dosh for spell upgrades This list should give you someting to do untill you hit 30ish, the Nek / TS heritage quests are 'hard' to finish before lvl 30.

Gat started on your AQs and good luck in edgewater drains

I'd say that there are no "must do" quests. The armor quests are nice, but dangerous, and I found stuff on the broker that was as good as, if not better than the rewards. The best quest I did in the Commonlands was the bootstrutter tour of CL quests.. nice bag which is great for the level you get it.

As for the Heritage Quests mentioned above, I recommend that you wait until you're a patron of a guild to do these, as they give very nice guild xp bumps. If you're already a patron, or have no intention of becoming one, then they are very good quests to do at level 30 or above in small groups. At level 20, there's no way you'll be able to do them for a while. I'd say even mid to upper 30's if you want to be able to do them fairly easy... otherwise, HQ's are known for their very tough final bosses. The recommended level in the Journal is waaaaay off.
