Looks like there are several types of Cedar Wands. Does anyone have a link to their effects so I can see what would work best for us?

There is a Pristine Poison Imbued Cedar Wand and a Pristine Disease Imbued Cedar Wand.

Both work well with our debuffs.

Personally, I use the Disease one.

I have seen 5 types so far. Other than disease and poison, there are also mental, fire and frost. The pristine cedar wands do like 300 damage on average and have a casting time of 10secs. The Pristine ones go for around 1p on Neriak. There is also a lesser verion of these wands, probably called the rough wands, these do like 250 damage on average, and go for around 50gp.

Viromage wrote:
Looks like there are several types of Cedar Wands. Does anyone have a link to their effects so I can see what would work best for us?

The pristine ones are the best. The different flavors (poison, disease, cold etc) just refer to the type of damage done by the nuke proc. The damage rating is the same for all the nukes. So the logical thing is to choose a damage type which goes well with our debuffs... poison or disease. IMO, those imbued rare wands are the only weapon that a priest or mage should even consider... the uninterruptible, unstifleable no-power nuke has been a lifesaver multiple times over, both for my Inq and my Warlock. Also, the stats on the wands are excellent and their melee damage is very comparable to the other available weapons. My Inq has sometimes got low on power halfway through soloing 4-5 grouped mobs, and gone on to defeat the encounter using just the wand for offense, and using the remaining power for self-healing.

Its actually a clickable spell, not a proc. It has a 10sec or so cast time and a short recast of maybe 1 sec.

Eirgorn
