Desc says :increase power by 1%. Also, do not go off how much hp you lose when you examine the spell. I've had it say 85, 125, etc, etc etc.

I rarely ever devour health unless I just go hog wild on spells or the fight lasts for 10 mins +. Then typically I need only one devour. the 70/71 seems a bit low. I have lich adept 3, robe of the invoker, prismatic, and a secondary item that gives like 16 or so mana regen in battle and I prob regen close to if not over 200 mana a tick. Not alot when your spending 300+ mana a tick but its nice.

Giga,

We regen in combat exactely 30 power/tic at lv 50 without buffs or worn power regen items every class has the same power regen size. This is a fact I have tested it many times and asked otyhers to confirm to me.

Then I put robe of the invoker+ effy boots(both +20 power/tic in combat) and I was regenerating 70 power tic.

You got +20(robe),+12 (prismatic but also regen it out combat what is great), and a +16(some shield you got)

so your total regen in combat is =78 power/tic(48+30).

Add raid buffs and maybe you med 200 power/tic(not sure how much clarity line of buff can add or how many kinds of this line of buff we can stack during a raid)What can probably give us that huge power regen is our devour health, mine is ad1 and it is 146 power/tic every 2.3 secs.

Atm Lich is a bit buged, I noticed 6 power regen, some times I noticed no [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] powr regen and seems out combat it is not giving power(take off drink and check) but we keep losing HP/tic that is like 80 at ad3 so the information when examining the spell is not totaly incorrect, says 76 hp tic lost from ad3 lich.

I have Master I Lich, it is also bugged. Way too low of a mana regen. And people, it takes a lot of health.

Hmm, well lich mana regen does suck so I retract my statement BUT I still regen a lot more then stated,

I don't use drink or food ever. Out of combat I gain around 170 mana or so a tick. That is without drink, and I am not using prismatics anymore, I use a necro wand, so I don't get the 12 mana regen from that and I am still perfectly fine on mana in or out of combat. If ya don't believe me Allowen I will show you in game sometime.

Message Edited by Garlin1 on 06-04-2005 08:01 AM

Message Edited by Garlin1 on 06-04-2005 08:52 AM

It's gonna [Removed for Content] alot of them off. Personally, I think it was a needed change... the ability to regen power has trivialized many classes abilities and even more encounters. Hopefully they'll maintain this trend and put the kaibosh on the out of control power regen items in the game.

I'd just like to /smack Giga took my Shadowy Assassin Master I hehe anyways, I'm not uber by any standards, I don't have invoker robe, I don't have any power regen items, except GEB's as of last night. I do however how Devour health Master 1, using that spell I never have a problem with power as of right now at least. As of right now at lvl 46 spells does 163 dmg to pet, 163 dmg every 3.3 seconds, 243 power to me, 239 power to me every 3.3 seconds . only a 10 second duration gives me 3 ticks. Giving me 243instant power then 239x3 power (717)...960 power in 10 seconds, granted it has a 20 sec recast time. but it's a decent ammount of power every 30 secs and if I were uber and have a few more power regen items it'd be nice, but I think tapping the pet is the best source of power for a necro in a NEED POWER NOW instance....has saved my groups [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] many times when people are oop and I'm steadily tapping my pet staying above 50% power steadily nuking and dotting to hell and feeding people hearts and splinters

just my added 2 cents

Mystafet 50 Sage 46 Necro of Orphans of War on Mistmoore
