<div></div>Hi All, Ding, lvl 30, with that said, I have new training options, and I could use your help.  I'm not sure what to train in.  I read some thing about the pack of hounds, then respec(?) at a higher lvl and then get the pet.  If someone could explain these options, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Noddo <div></div><p>Message Edited by Noddo on <span class=date_text>05-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:55 PM</span>

<P>A lot has been posted on this page about the lvl 30 necro training options. Try the 'search' at the bottom of the page if you care to read it all. My take on it is: If you have already respec'd (you can only do it once) grab the dogs cause they are very good. If you still have your respec available grab the pet and respec for the dogs at lvl 38 when you get the next normal necro pet spell. </P> <P>Another point to consider is if you have already dumped alot of cash into upgrading you current pet. </P> <P>I still have my respec. I chose the lvl 30 pet but still prefer my lvl 20 training pet for soloing(he is still leveling with me. I think til lvl 34). I had this approach planned out, so I never spent any money to upgrade the Undieing Adherent. Just used my Adpt 1 Grim Spellbinder for groups, and now he is replaced by the lvl 30 trainer. Nice thing about the trainers is they start out at master level.  </P> <P>Huskeron Redd</P> <P>lvl 31 necro</P> <P> </P>

<div></div>Thanks Huskeron, I know I read about this before, but the searches I did wouldn't bring up what I wanted.  I guess I didn't search with the right key words.  I like the pet option as I have not respec'd.  I'n not even sure how thats done.  Thanks again for the help! <DIV>As I understand it, and which was my experience, is that the level 20 Fallen Hero pet stops leveling at level 32.  I hadn't respeced yet so at 30 I picked the Grim Corrupter pet.  He threw out great DPS but he wasn't tough enough to tank for me at level 33 when I was fighting level 37 solo mobs.  I have UA adept III so switched to him and respeced then.  I picked Opals (lvl 20 pet buff) and the rotting packhounds (lvl 30 option) to replace my Hero and Corruptor respectively.  UA tanks just fine for me now, especially with the lvl 20 buff, which is still green to me at 34.  Plus the dogs are great. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you group a lot you may want to try the corruptor and respec later at 38.5 when you get RT.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, it is my understanding that training options are all Adept II.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Finally, you respec by typing:  /respec</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>A word of caution:  Not everyone can /respec.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At some point in the past, because they made some changes to the necro class that affected their fundamental abilities, everyone who had a necro in existence at that time, gained the ability to /respec once and change their choices.  That day was before March 26 (the day I created my necro).  I know it was before 3/26 because I cannot /respect... I am forever stuck with my choices. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Soooo.. do not plan your toon expecting to respec.  If you can do it, great, but my guess is that you will probably not have that opportunity. </DIV>

<P>Thanks all, thats great information.  I think I can respec, as I created my Necro last December.  So I may go with the hounds for now, then change it later.</P> <P> Thanks again all!</P> <P>Noddo</P> <P> </P>
