Bought this last night, more as I wanted a master than in any great hope it was a big increase in performance on the adept 1(The descriptions are very very close well apart from one saying master and one adept identical) any one got this and tried it out ?

Maybe the new spell scaling changes may make it a good buy, ah well at least I have a master spell now, I am sure I could have spent the 85gp in a more productive way but what the hell its only virtual money (of which i now have virtualy none left).

I recently bought Convulse (Master I), which is the upgrade to Grasping Bones.

Complete waste of money. The spell description is exactly the same as that for the Apprentice and Adept version, including power cost. In practice, it seems no more or less effective than before the upgrade. I haven't noticed a difference in resist rates either.

I expected to be thrown a bone for having it at Master level - having it work on Epic encounters, for instance, would be nice. Instead there would seem to be absolutely no reason to upgrade this spell.

Not only should this spell line have a faster cast time (or a larger pet DPS boost, arguments could be made for either), but some incentive should exist to upgrade it. At Master level it should land in Epic encounters, and the stun length should increase with every upgrade.
