Stench of the Grave compared

Just befor ei hit 49 a couple of weeks ago stench of the grave master 1 was available on the broker for 2P, i didnt know if it was worth the money or not so I hestitated for along time to buy it but in the end the temptation was too big <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Too help others make the decision easier i decided to take screenshots of the 3 different levels of the spell i had available at that time when i scribed it so here you have Apprentice 1, Adept 1 & Master 1, check for yourself and see if its worth the money if you ever get the possibility to upgrade it above adept 1. You got a steal for 2p, I would spend double that on it.  Since this is a level 49.6 spell, we will be using it for a long long time even with expansions.  If I found one on the broker for 2p I would buy it in a second. <div></div>

VERY nice man.  The base damage on that master is higher than the max damage on the adept 1...very nice deal.

I'm not down playing the fact that you got a master, because thats awsome bro.  I guess I had hoped for something a little more drastic from adept1 to master.  The way they broke down spell upgrades, and made many items like masters very difficult to get, I had hoped that it truely would be astonishing between Adept and Master.  Maybe it is me, and im simply wishful thinking. <DIV>Reguardless gratz on the master bro.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Yes and clinging stech will stop upgrading at what? 52-53? Stench is a level 49.6 spell which will continue to get more and more powerful even when the expansion comes out.  The adept 3 does more damage than the training one.  I think stench is the way to go, and the adept 3 will only cost like 1p if you buy or you can go out and harvest a rare. <div></div>

like I said, its my opinion.  but I like the 30% slow.  and I can use it Now from March till November when and if an exp. comes out.  I'm not spending plat now for a potential benefit when an expansion is a long way off for spell that may help me when I'm lvl 53.  Assuming there are no other spell upgrades in 51,52,53 that replace it.  <DIV>I did finaly get a master pet life tap.  It isn't much better than the adept 1 though, but hey, I 'll take it on a drop.  </DIV>

Thank you for posting the information about the master spell, I appreciate it.  As far as training options go, I went with the upgraded to our AoE lifetap dot, Zarvonn's Vitae Gorge. It stacks with Accursed Cloud, and since the recast time on both of them is 2 seconds, you can stack them pretty easily. But you're right, that is a tough decision. Snare on your ghastly stench would be pretty nice, but the damage on that master is a huge upgrade from the adept 1 version. <div></div>
