<DIV>Greetings,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ive been hanging on to my /respec for some time now and now at lvl 39 im researching the best training options that arent redundant with those that are upgraded later etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My personal conclusions are </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>10 teleminas pulsating feedback</DIV> <DIV>20 Opals aggravating seal</DIV> <DIV>30 Jaulls rotting hounds</DIV> <DIV>40 Raveus' Clinging stench</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is due to the fact my lvl 10 and 40 choices both have a "slows target" aspect (which is my motivation for the choice) will there be a conflict? will the effects not stack, cancel each other out or any other such undesirable effects?  I sure would like to know from some necro who has and uses them both.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If there is a conflict or detrimental effect then I would like some feedback from any necros who have and use Zaravonns Vitae Gorge and/or Marneks Excruciating bindings.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you for your input.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I'm afraid I don't have any information on the stacking of the Snares, but just as a little extra information, Zarvonn's Vitae Gorge, an option on the level 40 training, stacks with our other lifetap dot that it upgrades. The recast time on both is 2 seconds so you just have a minor break between casting them. Plus Zarvonn's has 90 some HP per tick on it right away at level 40.  Just thought I'd slip that in incase it helped make up your mind on anything. <div></div>

<DIV>Zarnov lv40 training skill only heals once and it is for 99hp,it is not heal every tic the dot does damage on mob.It is still great thru,I use it all the time , cast the normal dot heal, then a lifetab to get more hp back, then sarnov while you wait refresh on siphon and the dot heal to fade and so recast it.With the 3 "heal" spells casting in chain is super to keep ourselves alive....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can stack snare from lv 10 &40 with a 12 agil doll, it will stack the snare effect, mobs will move real slow and they stack both trainning skil ldots stacks with each other. I joinned forces with a necro friend a few times, I got the lv 10 snare and he has the lv 40, fun easy common nameds and epic named fights.</DIV>

<DIV>Allowen - Does the level 10 and level 40 snares only stack if different necros cast them, or can a solo necro cast both on a mob and have them stack and REALLY slow the mob down?</DIV>

<P>I dont have both snare trainning skills so I can t be 100pct sure about the stacking but I remember one or other necro around that posted he had the two spells so I hope he can answer in here.</P> <P>Anyways you shoulddo preaty well with one of the snares plus using an agil doll that has a clicky snare effect.</P> <P>The reason I did not get the lv 40 stench trainning skill is cuz I already had a snare(even thinking on the possibility they could both stack) and stench tranning skill would be less dps then an adept 3/master of the 49 upgrade of stench. The lv 10 trainning skills are all useless at high lvs but not  the talamania s snare spell.</P> <P>Well, maybe for soling you could use the two snare spells+ a doll (that would sure make mob snared 100pct of the fight duration)but then on xp group use the lv 49 stench for more dps ,this would be my suggestion.</P>

<DIV>The level 10 and 40 DoT snares definitely stack if the same necro casts them, I have both.  Makes kiting a much safer proposition.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Uglukson on <span class=date_text>05-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:56 PM</span>

<P>Interesting info Midgebil and Uglukson,</P> <P> </P> <P>This gets me thinking... So what other training options stack with thier standard counterpart?  If Vita Gorge stacks with breath of the unearthed, does the other options such as corpeskin stack with boon of the lifeless and so on and so forth? This opens up a new aspect of how to make the most of my training options.  any clear or consice list of which stack?</P> <P> </P>

yes they both stack, along with the 12 agi doll, so get it right now and have fun.

<DIV>Just turned 40 recently</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have the 10th training snare, Hex doll, and now the 40th clinging stench option...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>turn off pet defend me/self. </DIV> <DIV>Root mob. (Master chains of Torment) </DIV> <DIV>Hex doll. (22-27% snare)</DIV> <DIV>Clinging stench (approx 29%)</DIV> <DIV>Telaminas pulse (approx 29%)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As you can see, I try to cast the longer casts 1st.</DIV> <DIV>The thing to really keep in mind is the pulse....it has the lowest duration.</DIV> <DIV>ok...so all the slows on it. Start dotting the heck out of it then send pet, dogs/rats, anything......once root breaks then backup and apply pulse, stench, and dot some more.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>hex doll every other cycle to keep it going.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Keep in mind the alarming "TINK" sound of resists....your snares take priority over anything else. The stench is a good dot as it is. Pulse is ok. Let the pet and dogs/rats do rest. If you get lazy then when one snare drops you think you have it made and then uh oh, TINK (resist)....there goes the 2nd snare now....time to kite and hope you dont aggro.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As to how slow the mob moves?</DIV> <DIV>1 snare (like hex) will be like you running while recovering from rez effects.</DIV> <DIV>2nd snare (like the stench) will make the mob like as fast you walking....you still have to keep on your toes.</DIV> <DIV>3rd snare (pulse) will make that mob as fast as you are walking and very very burdened!....go carry 5 strong boxes and see how fast...I mean slow that is.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If one snare drops you still have 2 of course.....you might have to sprint a little to gain "casting distance" to get that 3rd one back on there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its funny to see them crawl sooooo slow though. Just try to keep an eye on the duration of the snares and other nearby (unsnared) aggro mobs while you are laughing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Nomicon</DIV> <DIV>on Oasis</DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text>Sad part is it will be nerfed I think  -given the history of how that bat swings. Especially when you consider they will remove stacking issues...now imagine a group of necros and some warlocks</SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text>So...choose wisely, what you think will be fun may not exist after you've committed to that path......dont believe me? Talk to an alchemist or assassin.</SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text>Just because we have the ability to do this now doesnt mean we will still be able to. My advice is get the options you feel will best express your play style and hope for the best.</SPAN></DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Snan on <span class=date_text>06-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:19 AM</span>
